Oh thanks margie. I’ve added photo data up above.

Most of the time I carry around a Nikon D300 and a Nikon D60. One has a 16-85 lens for wide angle and mid-range, and the other has a 70-300 for long shots. Those are both Nikon lenses.

I carry two cameras so I won’t have to change lenses outside. In the summertime I carry them in the front carrier of my bike.

Then I do a lot of post-processing in Lightroom 2. I also use Photoshop, but usually only to straighten the perspective and apply noise reduction.

    Thanks for asking :)

Kath, you and margie both take great pictures. You don’t need them to look like mine.

Anyway what I do in Lightroom is just max everything: Recovery, Fill light, and Blacks. That usually looks horrible so I fool around with the sliders. When I get something I like, I save it as a preset.

Nowadays I also like to overdo the noise reduction in Noiseware Pro so they get kind of flat and shiny. Et voilĂ !

Great photography I really enjoy your photos the sky and clouds are always so dramatic. The photographs look like high realism art as well like they have been painstakingly hand painted. I have prints in my house with a canvas finish which makes them look like real paintings I cant afford real, but your photos are all amazing. Your photos of animals are quite impressive.
