copy-of-km1.jpg I’m saddened today by the news that Kate McGarrigle has died of cancer. Two years ago I went to Bluesfest to hear her daughter Martha Wainwright, and was thrilled to find that Kate was there too, playing piano and singing harmonies. I posted some pictures:
