Byward market

I don’t go down to the market that often. It’s kind of a zoo down there. But I was desperate, I had to get some pictures.
Garlic

Gumboots

Corn

That weather vane on top of the TV station

That’s all!
The Election, Part 3
Even though I said “Elizabeth May, all the way,” I’m actually willing to vote strategically in this election. I think everyone should do what they can to try and stop the Harper majority.
My own riding, Ottawa Centre, is pretty lively. I liked how it worked out last time, when I wanted to support the Greens but I thought NDPer Paul Dewar, riding on Ed Broadbent’s coattails, had a chance to win. I voted Green to encourage them, and so they’d get the 75 cents a vote, or whatever it is they get, but I didn’t think my vote was wasted because I was pretty sure Dewar could win without it. I felt like I had two votes. You might say that was strategic voting.
This time the Liberals have brought in heavy shooter Penny Collenette to contest the seat. I think it’s too bad the Liberals are wasting their guns taking on Paul Dewar when they should be fighting the Conservatives. I’m going to have to think about what to do. Any suggestions?
I just watched Elizabeth May on TVO. She’s impressive. I think she’s going to do just fine in the debate. Elizabeth May, all the way! (Can she speak French?)

I don’t think Elizabeth May could be where she is without speaking French, do you? The Green guy in our riding is somewhat intriguing…I’m keeping an eye on him. And I agree with you about doing whatever we can to stop the Harper majority. Harper said he’s expecting another minority, but that can’t be true because then why would he have called this election? He’s such a liar, his pants are on fire
