Canadian gothic

According to the web site Explore the Hill:
There are 4 gargoyles on the Peace Tower. Each is approximately 2.5 m (8 ft. 4 in.) long by 75 cm (2 ft. 6 in.) high by 45 cm (1 ft. 6 in.) thick. They have been carved from Stanstead grey granite, which originates from Beebe, Quebec, Canada.

The four stylized designs are:
-Bird
-Human Head
-Lion
-Dragon

I’m not sure which one this is. I’m guessing the dragon.

Nice grotesque, if that isn’t an oxymoron.

I think it’s amazing how it can just be there protruding like that year after year through snow, ice, sleet, hail, wind and other stufff.
