Art Is In Bakery

A very good bakery, oddly located in an industrial park — City Centre off Somerset. The right-hand side of this picture is in a mirror.

They’ve put a patio in the loading dock.

Hartman’s

Then I went down to Hartman’s to get a few things.

One thing I like about the Color Sketch effect is how it makes people look like robots, and unconnected things take on extra significance. Like the picture of the baby. What does it mean?

Last one: A park I go through on my way home from the store. The man in the wheelchair did a U-turn when he saw me coming. Must have been afraid he’d get himself fisheyed.

I never thought I liked all that gimmicky stuff in cameras, but I like color sketch!

(In case you haven’t been paying attention, fisheye is an ultra wide-angle lens. Color sketch is Nikon in-camera processing that turns photos into cartoons.)

Here’s out the window with some dude walking past and the Umi Cafe and Korean Palace, formerly Soo-Ra, across the street.

Then I went across the street to the Umi. Here’s the front door in color sketch fisheye.

I like Color Sketch so much that I shot some more of them from off my front porch. There’s Yangtze Chinese Restaurant.

I’m sure I’ll get tired of Color Sketch pretty soon, but for now I really like it. It’s at least as cool as Hipstamatic!

Here’s a sparrow I saw at Dow’s Lake. Not in Color Sketch. (Well I think it’s a sparrow, but I’m willing to be corrected.)
