The canal is partly open for skating, just between the Pretoria and Bank St. bridges. I saw all this stuff while I was walking down there on Gladstone.

This looks like Elmaks’ work. No swap box this time, just permission to break the ice.

It says, “You may make small-talk with one nearby stranger of your choosing.”

I think that’s a great idea, but there weren’t any strangers nearby. There were plenty of strangers at the canal, but I didn’t think it would be a good idea to break the ice down there and send them plunging to their deaths.

I’m not really thinking of moving right now, but I can’t help wondering how big the kitken is.
