Looks like trouble at the swap box on Lisgar. Nothing in it except money. Not even a condom! I took a loonie and left the Art in the Park button I got before. Then I gave the loonie to a beggar. I should have picked up that Nike hat.

This is in the window at the Trivium discount store on Bank. Trivium sells Goth gear. (I don’t know what Vexy is.) I don’t know if they should have discount Goth stuff. It should just seem like you got it off a dead vampire.

I think these angel sculptures in the market are very cool.

This area in the underpass at Rideau and Sussex has been fenced off to prevent homeless kids from sleeping there. I’m not sure but I think that’s just mean. They’re going to sleep somewhere. Maybe it will be somewhere even worse.

Christmas in Ottawa

This squirrel was very tame. I guess everybody feeds him. He lives in Confederation Park.

On my long Christmas walk I stopped for a chicken burger at McDonald’s on Elgin. Thay have put in a big TV for the amusement of the burger eaters. It seems to be permanently tuned to CNN. I bet CNN is paying big bucks for that. Anyway I kind of like this picture of the big TV and a red-sweatered diner.
