Woody’s next door has put in a patio out there too. It’s nice. Gets you off Elgin.

I don’t know what this place is, but I like it. Same location.

New bike

I got a new bike. It’s a Specialized Globe Vienna Deluxe 3, women’s frame. More here:

I got the women’s step-through frame because I plan to still be able to get on it when I’m 80. It has an 8-speed hub shifter, not a derailleur. I think they’re better in the snow. Plus built-in generator lights. I like it a lot.

Who wants my old bike? It’s a Raleigh with cheerful yellow handle bars. Works good, has fenders and a bell, rear rack, new rear tire. For sale cheap.

Brebeuf

Saint Jean de Brébeuf. This is a statue in Gatineau. Looks just like Jack Layton don’t you think?

Here’s another statue in Gatineau. I thought it was some surf boards stuck in the sand, or else shark fins, look out! Just when you thought it was safe to go in the water…

…but I was mistaken. It’s not surf boards, it’s eternity!

Proving once again, that art is whatever you can get away with.
