These are terrific.

There are 15 of them, spaced out along Preston from Somerset to Carling. They are beautiful and intriguing. The meanings aren’t obvious at all, so you’re going to have to go and see them more than once to figure some of them out. It will be worth it.

They’re by Gatineau artist cj fleury. You can Google her. The Ottawa Citizen has a short video of her explaining one of the sculptures. (I don’t know if I want to have them all explained though.)

This one shows Marco Polo’s route from Italy to China, and the quote is what he said on his death bed.

I started out thinking I was going to take pictures of all of them, but I liked looking at them so much that I stopped taking pictures almost immediately.
