The guy on the right is planning to throw himself under a bus. The guy on the left is looking for a rock to bash himself in the head.

Here are some pictures I took last May and June. This is my street corner on a warm spring evening with a nice cold beverage.

I saw this bike rider by the river.

These bike riders were out to bag a fat goose.

In the springtime I saw joggers and bladers,

water,

rocks,

flowers,

clouds,

a marsh full of turtles,

and some algae.

I saw an athletic woman hopping up the stairs at Strathcona Park on one foot,

a space between two buildings on Somerset,

a bus full of kids on Elgin,

a big fish in Dow’s Lake,

a woman sitting on a wall,

a memory of Big Al at the canal,

and a woman in a pink hijab at the war memorial.

I want warmth, and colour, and life. It won’t be long now. I can hardly wait!
