It was hard walking on the icy streets.

Here’s the suggestion box and snack machine at the Tang Coin Laundry. There don’t appear to be any snacks in the snack machine.

I wonder if anyone has ever put a suggestion in the suggestion box. How about “Please clean this laundromat and give it a coat of paint. And put in a coffee bar with nice pastries.”

There is lots of stuff on the bulletin board.

“Please take one” refers to this poem. Every page is the same poem, I looked. Instead of taking one I took a picture.

I like the poem. I just didn’t know the housewives down at the Tang Coin Laundry were so unhappy.

Here’s a little bird I saw.

Back home it was exciting times at the leadership convention. Ken Dryden came in last on the second ballot and went over to Bob Rae. Then Gerard Kennedy dropped out and went over to Stéphane Dion. I wonder what will happen!

Here’s Belinda Stronach on the TV. She doesn’t know what will happen either.

The leadership

It’s over and Stéphane Dion has it. They’re saying on TV that he was everybody’s second choice, and that he has no enemies, both typical qualities of the successful up-the-middle candidate. He owes his success to Gerard Kennedy, who tossed in the towel early and went over to him.

I hope it works out. He seems entirely devoid of charisma. Time will tell if he can win an election against Stephen Harper.
