I thought I’d see it on the canal but there is too much development on the east side, so I doubled back and went downtown. I never found a clear view to the horizon and in the end I just took what I could get.

This doesn’t have anything to do with the sunrise. It’s just one of those things you see sometimes that makes you think you’ve slipped into a parallel universe. Welcome to the mommyverse!

This weather vane is on top of a government building. What does it mean? Why does it have an airplane on it? Is it charting a course for Canada’s New Government? That might explain a lot.

chiarelli.jpgJust for the record, I’m dismayed by Ottawa city council discontinuing the crack pipe program. The issues are pretty simple. It’s harm reduction. Too bad the mayor, two police chiefs, and 2/3 of city council just can’t quite seem to grasp it.

What did we do to deserve this bunch? It’s enough to make you want to get the hell out of Dodge.
