They’ve put up a mural for the occasion.

This picture shows the police chief, city councillor Diane Holmes, and various other dignitaries posing in front of the mural.

What’s going on in the mural? Is that guy shooting at the dragon? Is he taking its picture? Look at these cops protecting the kids out in front of Yangtze restaurant.

Here’s the answer. That’s a pretty fast dragon! (73 mph, in case you were wondering.)

Happy blogiversary to me!

My first blog post was a year ago, and it was about FestivAsia, although at that time I didn’t know its name. I thought it was called AsianFest. I’ll be posting some more later on, because I’m feeling a little nostalgic.

For now, here’s Mayor Larry O’Brien with a young Asian voter. In the flesh!
