Farmer’s Market

The one at Lansdowne Park.

They had a petting zoo for opening day. This is an angora goat. I think they’re beautiful.

If you’re like me, you probably think angora wool comes from angora goats.

Wrong! It comes from angora rabbits. The wool from angora goats is called mohair.

This woman was striking with her dreadlocks and red shawl.

Here’s what the Aberdeen Pavilion looks like from the inside.

I fell in love with an angora goat at the Experimental Farm a few years ago. He had the silkiest ears…

I love goats. I think when I retire I’m going to embark on a second career as a goatherd.

Is that at the same time as your second careers as a hobo and a beekeeper?

Well keeping bees and herding goats can be done at the same time. Maybe I’ll just be a hobo on my vacations
