Supreme Court from behind. As architecture it’s dull, solid, square, monolithic, completely symmetrical, and perfectly balanced… just like the law aspires to be. They do this stuff on purpose you know.

Oh by the way, there’s something going on out in front of the Supreme Court. It looks like they’re cobbling together a wooden security tunnel for the justices to pass through on their way up the stairs and into the building. To prevent sniper attacks, one would assume. (I always kind of thought they had an underground entrance anyway, like the PM uses to get into the Langevin Block without being seen or shot at.)
If that’s what it is and it’s supposed to be permanent, it looks like hell. But this is all conjecture. Maybe someone who knows will write in and set me straight.
