This is the abandoned train station at Maynooth Station, a few miles up Hwy 62 from Maynooth proper.

That reminds me, I had a GPS with me on this road trip. After leading me down every sideroad from Renfrew to Combermere, including brief stops in not-specially-scenic Foymount and Rockingham, it told me to follow ‘Combermere Road’ the rest of the way into Maynooth. Evidently it hasn’t heard about Hwy 62.
I could forgive it for not knowing the roads out in the boondocks, but this GPS doesn’t know the way to my house in Ottawa either. It wanted me to go over to Arthur Street and then hop the chain at Somerset and Cambridge.
I think GPS’s are pretty cool, but only if you already know the way.
Here’s a yellow leaf.

A country road. I think it’s Musclow-Greenview.

That’s all!

great set today. I especially like the strong graphic linear elements of the yellow leaf photo.
I also love exploring these old abandoned train station towns. I learned that love from a bike trip down the KP trail between Calabogie and Snow Road Station. Anxious to see more.
Thanks Ruhh, I liked the leaf too.
ya, i really lik the leaf. the color is just right, especially with the pink twig its on. the colors fit perfectly and u would never expect 2 see them in nature. keep up the good work!
