Here’s a corner of the Chinatown Arch. I haven’t taken a picture of that in a long time.
Today I was trying to come to terms with my macro lens. It was that or sell it. I even hauled a tripod around with me, which I hate doing.
The results are inconclusive. Macro shots should be so sharp that your eyes bleed when you look at them, but I can’t seem to get there with this lens. Even with a tripod. Anyway here’s a flower.
(It’s a Sigma f2.8 150mm macro lens, Nikon mount. Not the one with VR. I had it on Kijiji for a couple of days and only got one reply, so I decided to give it another chance. Now it’s on probation and it had better shape up!)
