Not again!

I can’t resist this silly building. It’s parliament’s East Block.

What were they thinking?

I posted almost the same picture — the East Block getting bonked in the head with a cue ball — on July 17, 2008:
Gasp!

Once I caught the East Block looking out the window of the Langevin Building. It couldn’t believe what it was seeing.

And here it is in all its dopy feline pointy-hatted splendour.

Lost cat update:
Muffy came home after being gone for a week. Both of her rear legs have fractures, so she’ll be needing some orthopedic surgery. After that I think she’ll be ok.

Orthopedic surgery? What did they do for her so far?
I am happy for you and Judy, and Muffy of course, that things are going from breaking/missing to fixing/home.

Hi Joanna: Just hydration and pain medication. Surgery is scheduled for Wednesday. One leg is broken near the knee, and the other near the hip.

Poor little Muffy. I wish her a speedy and painless recovery. And thank you for being one of the few people to admit that the Parliament buildings are hideous

Hahaha! I never noticed that there was a Victorian pussycat with a pointy hat trapped in that building! Next time I go up there I will take a look and take some pictures of my own.

Glad to hear that your cat is home safe.
