In exciting cat toilet training news, Clint Eastwood is now jumping up on the toilet to do his business. It’s just step 1. He still has a tray up there with litter in it. After a week of this I’ll start opening holes in the tray. The holes very slowly get bigger until it’s all hole, no litter, and then you throw away the tray and he’s toilet trained.
Clint easily adapted to jumping up on the toilet to pee, but it took him more than 24 hours to decide that it was also ok to poop up there. I knew he had to go and I was worried that he’d do it on the rug or someplace in protest, but he didn’t. What a good cat!
