I like your photos, I really, really do. They’re always current and relevant and very artistic. But, I also like your writing and hearing about your appliances and your cat and especially about your car sharing issues. The car share program in Halifax was having the same problems you mentioned and then they just disappeared. Are they not managed properly? There must be tons of people interested in car sharing. Maybe they just don’t advertise well enough? Anyway, that was Saturday’s blog… sorry
I haven’t performed an analysis of the car-sharing program; really I was just ranting because I couldn’t get a car when I wanted one, and it probably wasn’t fair.
That being said, I think the owners have to walk a fine line between buying enough cars and making a profit. It must be tempting to put off car purchases for a few months sometimes.
Maybe it would be better if it were a non-profit co-op instead of being privately owned. I don’t know. I don’t begrudge them making a profit, but there have to be enough cars or people will leave.

Hi XUP, nice to hear from you.

Me again: I just checked vrtucar’s site. Today I could have a car at my nearby location anytime after 10 am, if I wanted one.
I don’t mean to discourage anybody from joining vrtucar. It’s a lot better than owning a car. Here’s their website: Vrtucar
