This blog doesn’t usually report on anything. It’s not what you’d call topical. But today I wish to report a rainbow on Catherine St.
I was in Bewawa at Catherine & Bay, formerly OEM Express, getting a graphics card for my new computer. As soon as I stepped out I saw the rainbow. I stuck my head back in the store and said to the two guys in there, “You should see this rainbow!”
They smirked at me like I was a nut case.
“It’s really great,” I said, but I could see that they weren’t about to interrupt their important computer-parts-buying business just to go outside and look at a rainbow, so I dropped that and got out my camera instead.

You can see in the picture that it’s actually two rainbows. It formed a complete semicircle, but I didn’t have a wide enough angle lens to get both ends at once. Here’s the best I could do.

Several people were walking on the sidewalk on Catherine Street, going home from work or whatever. Some of them were looking at the rainbow. They had big smiles on their faces. Others were looking down at their cell phones as usual.
That’s the end of my special news coverage of a rainbow on Catherine Street.

Wow! Best rainbow photos I’ve ever seen! Good “sky coverage” Mr. Rainbow. Good “rainbow coverage” Mr. Photojournalist!
Good job reporting! That’s an awesome rainbow. Rarely get to see full semicircles like this one. It really looks like it come right down to the ground.
Ptoouie, store people don’t know what they missed. Fabulous rainbow. Glad you caught it and put it in your camera.
