    Do you take requests Robin? I’d love to see a picture of the Ethiopian Church on Merivale, a few blocks south of Carling.

    I am almost certain that is the Place de Portage complex in Gatineau. There is a Tim Hortons in the atrium area below those skylights.

    The picture from 2 years ago is interesting too. Looks like a photo of the ocean taken from an airplane… until you notice the size of the ripples on the water at the top right and conclude that it has to be a close-up shot. Which river is this?

    And last year’s pic too… The cars almost look out-of-place. I feel like they should be replaced with horse-drawn carriages.

    lucy, that’s what I thought too. It’s the Ottawa River taken from the Alexandra bridge.
