OK, I went down there. There is a notice of termination of the lease stuck to the door. It’s for non-payment of rent. So I guess it’s so long SooRa, we hardly knew ya.

I ate at SooRa once when they opened, I didn’t really enjoy it. I guess I’m just not into paying to cook my own meat (and wasn’t that good at it) ;)

I had a great meal there. Darn. Incredible quantity of great food.
But I didn’t get the “cook my own” option - when I want to cook my own food, I stay home.

SooRa we hardly knew ya. I never would have guessed that the People’s Republic of Umi would outlast the pricey capitalist restaurant.

Umi is definitely > Raw Sugar. Umi survives out of community love and the determined workers.
