US Election

I am absolutely thrilled that a black man could become US President. I think this is a wonderful turning point in history. Go Barack Obama go!

Plus I think he’s a good guy.

That’s all I wanted to say. Here’s a picture of a seagull. I took it down at the Rideau Canal.

    Such regal perfection in the air! It is a pity they have to land, and eat, and do all these other prosaic things.
    This photo not only captures the elegance and the power of the movement but also the speed. Beautiful.
    Is there such thing as ugly pictures of flying birds?

    This wing pointing so perfectly up makes me strech my arms and I do feel perfect, too.
