2 Days in Paris (2007)

Julie Delpy, star of Richard Linklater’s Before Sunrise and Before Sunset, directs a movie that blurs the line between character and person.
If you find yourself asking, “Where’s Ethan Hawke?” you’ve fallen into the trap.
Delpy plays a young French woman who has eccentric parents who live upstairs, and an American boyfriend. The boyfriend doesn’t speak French and wasn’t expecting Delpy’s character to have so many ex-lovers.
As in the Linklater films, the characters walk around and talk and talk and talk and talk. They are very honest, very charming, and very real.
I liked this movie a lot.
