Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle (2004)

I can’t believe I watched the whole thing!

Well, I didn’t exactly. It was on but I was mostly playing facebook Scrabble.

Every generation needs its stoner comedy. Mine had Cheech and Chong, who for my money were quite a bit funnier than these guys. But this is what you get now.

I neither recommend it nor don’t. Watch it if you want. It has a strong subplot about racial pride, which I kind of like. (Harold is Korean and Kumar is Indian.) (Of course, Cheech was Latino and Chong Chinese, so I guess it goes with the territory.) Other than that, it’s about getting stoned and trying to go to White Castle and eat burgers.
