Lars And The Real Girl (2007)

This is a great, heartwarming movie about the strength of community and the human spirit. It feels a bit like Juno, although it doesn’t have any smart-ass teenagers in it. It’s also a bit like It’s a Wonderful Life.

It stars Canadian Ryan Gosling as a delusional young man who needs to learn how to live in the world and be a person. It’s ok because everybody helps him.

I’m not even going to tell you what happens, because if you don’t already know you’ll probably like it better. Just watch it. I think you’ll love it.

Warning: Not an action movie. Also not sci-fi. Not porn either! Just a movie.
